Our Community

Dereham Neatherd High School has served the local community in Dereham and its surrounding area for over 100 years. We take great pride in forging close links with our pupils' families, with residents and with local community groups and businesses. Our aim is for our pupils to be polite, considerate, well-educated and helpful citizens who are committed to making a positive contribution to this community.

Furthermore, we aspire to build our pupils' cultural capital, and knowledge and understanding of fundamental British values and the wider world, so that they can play their full part as informed and active members of society. In addition to our knowledge-rich taught curriculum, we ensure that every pupil - regardless of background - has access to outstanding pastoral care, alongside a range of opportunities for personal development through our wider curriculum of clubs, societies, sports teams and educational visits.
