Work Experience

Dear parents and carers

Our Year 10 students have just returned from another successful work experience week with local employers.

Next year it will be your children taking part in this very important Careers programme - students get so much out of it. We will be launching the work experience with a Briefing on 1st November and the actual work experience week will take place during w/c 8th July 2019.

As some placements in certain sectors (i.e. Vets, Music Industry, Theatre, Computing etc) are very popular, placements need to be booked a year in advance! We found that some of our students missed out on those as they were snapped up by students from other schools. So we would like to give your son/daughter the opportunity to already find their "dream placement" now or over the Summer holidays.

We attach the relevant form herewith, one side needs to be completed by the employer, the other side by parents/carers and the student. Please note that students can only attend a placement if the employer has got EMPLOYER LIABILITY INSURANCE. Ideally the placements should be in Norfolk or Suffolk.
