Research by neaco
Dear Parents / Career,
As a school we have partnered with the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) which is a project aimed at increasing the number of young people going into Higher Education. If you would like to read more about neaco their website can be accessed here - https://www.takeyourplace.ac.uk/
I have attached their data sharing protocols for your information. The information will be used by neaco and their partners monitoring, evaluating and tracking participant’s higher education progression; and for research purposes including (but not limited to) evaluating the impact of neaco and other third-party activities. There is a letter for parents / carers of year 7 and 8 students, and a letter for parents and carers from year 9 upwards.
Obviously any issue of data protection is taken seriously by us as an organisation. We consider this to be an extremely beneficial partnership and one that is operating in other schools in Norfolk.
If you have any questions feel free to contact myself at the school. For your reference the school data protection policy can be found here: https://neatherd.org/privacy/
