ParentPay began the process of returning all unspent balances to your ParentPay parent account. They are doing this automatically and so there is no need to make individual requests.
Once any unspent funds have been returned to your ParentPay Parent Account, you can then make a withdrawal. A link is below.
If you are a critical worker and your child/children are continuing to attend school and they usually pay for their school meals, you will need to re-add some funds to your childrens' accounts so that they can continue to purchase food at school.
Activities Week and Educational Visits
With much uncertainty at the moment we wanted to share a decision regarding future trips. You may be aware that in light of the Coronavirus outbreak the decision was taken to cancel all trips for March and April. With the closure of schools now for an uncertain amount of time, we have made the decision that all trip for the remainder of the academic year will now be cancelled.
This decision means that Activities Week in July 2020 is now cancelled. We believe that in light of the uncertainty presented by the current position and the financial impact that it is having on many families that this this is the most appropriate decision. Assuming school is open, the week will revert to a normal teaching week which will allow us the opportunity to fill any gaps in pupils’ knowledge that may have happened as a result of the school closure.
The finance team for the Trust will begin to issue refunds through the ParentPay as soon as they are able for any trip where the funds are still held in school. This will be completed in date order based on the departure day of the trip in question. For some trips where the money has left the school, we will seek the return of funds through insurance cover and again, if we are successful with those claims, will process the return of the funds in date order. So far all claims made to the insurers have been successful however these trips may take longer to refund.
I understand that these are concerning times but rest assured that we will deal with all matters as quickly as we are able.
