Digital Parenting Magazine
Dear parents and carers
From tomorrow Year 7 to 10 students will be coming home with a copy of “Digital Parenting”, a printed guide to helping to keep young people safe online. The content of this current version includes advice from teachers, parents and online safety experts on subjects ranging from Virtual Reality to Snapchat. It also has tips from online safety experts, parents and children themselves.
There is also an updated guide to setting parental controls on apps and devices, and information on gaming and keeping kids safe while they play. The online version of the magazine includes live links in the Tools section to make finding out about parental controls even easier.
Yours sincerely
Mr A. Gibson
