MFL sets 9(1)E, 9(1)W, 9(2)E, 9(2)W

Year 9 Key Stage 4 Options Evening, Wednesday 8th February 2012
In the second week of February, we will be holding an information evening for your child and yourself, to enable you to begin the process of considering which subjects they will take in Years 10 and 11.
The evening will commence with a talk in the Sports Hall from 6pm when you will receive the Options Booklet with information about the courses on offer, and your child’s Year 9 report. The booklet also contains the form on which the option choices are made.
There will be an opportunity to talk to subject specific staff, see pupil work and test material, and view a short presentation for most option subjects. In addition, you are welcome to informally discuss the choices (and have refreshments) in the Canteen.
The designated evening for pupils in teaching sets 9(1)E, 9(1)W, 9(2)E and 9(2)W for French or Spanish is Wednesday 8th February 2012.
The Options Evening will then be followed (after the half term break) by a Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 28th February, when you can gain further insight and advice from specific teachers as to the appropriateness of Key Stage 4 courses your child may be considering.
