Your child’s class has been selected to take part in a project that will see pupils explore modern community cohesion and diversity. As part of this project pupils are being taken to Gressenhall Museum of Rural Life for an orientation day which will explore the aims of the project as well as introducing students to the other pupil participants from Downham Market, who we will be working with on the project. There is no cost to pupils who will benefit from the opportunity to really look at the community that we live in.
On the day pupils will be expected to wear school uniform and bring a packed lunch and a drink – no glass bottles please. Those students who currently receive free school meals will have a packed lunch provided by the canteen. I hope that you will allow your child to take part in this interesting and relevant project. Please fill in the attached Parental Consent Form and return, via your child, to Mrs Lovelock in the Payment Collections Area (outside Business 1) during morning break any day except Wednesday, as soon as possible, and by Monday 26th September at the very latest. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR SON/DAUGHTER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE PART IN THIS VISIT UNLESS THE PARENTAL CONSENT FORM IS COMPLETED IN FULL AND RETURNED TO MRS LOVELOCK BY THE DATE SHOWN.
If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
